There are several church ministries and outreaches here at Bethany. There is much to do and much to offer. We would love for you to come and be a part of our church family and help us minister to our local community and become involved in any of our ministries.

Bethany Independent Baptist Academy ____________________________________________________________ |

Bethany Baptist Academy is a home-school education ministry currently offered to members of Bethany and their families. This is an alternative school program to give your children an education in a Godly, Christian atmosphere outside of the public school system. Springs of Living Water Radio Broadcast ___________________________________________________________ |

This radio broadcast airs every Sunday morning @ 10:00am on
WBLE (100.5 FM) out of Batesville, MS. Pastor Tim Ellis,
accompanied by some good singing, preaches his heart and soul
out with compassion for the lost and dying world every Sunday

Bethany Baptist Christian Workers Institute ___________________________________________________________ |

The Christian Workers Institute is an extensive, detailed, bible study taught by Pastor Tim Ellis. The class meets once a week on Thursday evenings and the class is broken down into 4 semesters. It is designed in such a way that you can start in any semester and pick up with the next until you have finished them all. |
Nursing Home Ministry __________________________________________________________ |

Bethany holds a Nursing Home Service Ministry every week at
one of two local nursing homes. This ministry is a way to
reach out and encourage the elderly who can not attend church
services. Members of the church hold a service once a week
for the patients. There is preaching and singing in

World Wide Missions Program _________________________________________________________________ |

We strongly believe in supporting the world wide missions
program. This is one of the biggest ministries of Bethany
Baptist Church. We directly support about 35 missionaries
in several countries around the world. In addition to this
we also support the New Life Seminary in Monterrey, Mexico which
trains young preachers to go out and spread the Gospel.

Bible School Program _________________________________________________________ |

During the summer we host bible school programs for the children of our community and even have a little something for the teens. We have a bible school program at the church which teaches the children about Jesus and runs for a week. There are fun-filled evenings with games and activities as well as bible lessons. We also have a traveling Bible Bus Camp which we setup in other areas of the community. |
Teen Ministries _________________________________________________________ |

| We have a special ministry for the teens including classes,
socials, and outreaches to keep them involved. We host
youth rally's and meetings a few times each year to encourage

Lady's Bible Study __________________________________________________________________ |

| This is a special bible study for ladies which meets Friday mornings @ 10:00am. The class is held by Sis. Dorothy Ellis and Sis. Judy Dees. All ladies are welcome. | |
